Building on the landmark 2023 and 2024 gatherings focused on Reconsidering Race in Clinical Algorithms, we will work together to advance key recommendations for lasting change. Participating organizations will gather to address an insidious problem – the use of race as a biologic construct – in clinical algorithms. We will learn about opportunities for coordinated action to bring scientific rigor to the consideration of race in medical research, address harmful uses of race in algorithms, and continue to drive clinical guidance toward health equity.
