The rigorous consideration of race in the design, implementation, and monitoring of clinical algorithms must be undertaken to ensure equity and quality care for all. The human impact of the inclusion of race in kidney function testing is highlighted. Additionally, AAP shares its approach to eliminate race-based medicine in this plenary session.
