Protecting Patient Health in a Changing Climate: A New Imperative for Medical Leadership (Opening Plenary)
Description
In this opening plenary session, Dr. Mary Rice will share her expertise and research on the impact of climate on health and help us explore the role of specialty societies in developing evidence-based clinical guidance on climate issues, including extreme heat and pollution. A reactor panel, including a specialty society and a patient, will explore opportunities for medical societies to protect patient health in a changing climate.
